    Kadie Nausha, M.D.

    Dr. Nausha has recently returned to her home state of California. She completed her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University and continued her medical education at the University of Texas Medical Branch, where she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She also graduated with a Physician–Healer Scholarly Concentration, a program focused on training in equanimity, wisdom, and compassion.

    She then completed her residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. Following this, she pursued advanced training in otology at the Silverstein Institute in Sarasota, FL, home to the longest-standing otology fellowship in the country.

    In 2025, Dr. Nausha joined the practice to provide clinical and surgical care for advanced ear surgery, including eardrum repair, ossicular chain reconstruction, cholesteatoma surgery, cochlear implantation, and “surfer’s ear” repair. She is also among a select group of surgeons trained to provide surgical treatment for hyperacusis.

  • Quinten M. VanderWerf, M.D.
    Quinten M. VanderWerf, M.D., F.A.C.S.

    Dr. VanderWerf has been in practice at Desert ENT since 1999. He received his B.S. in chemistry from the University of California at Davis and his M.D. from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Medicine. He was chosen to continue at UCLA for residency training in the Division of Head and Neck Surgery. In addition to extensive training in head and neck surgery/Otolaryngology, he received advanced training in cosmetic and reconstructive facial plastic surgery.

    Dr. VanderWerf served as Chairman of the Department of Surgery and later as Medical Staff President at Eisenhower Medical Center. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. VanderWerf is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.

    Dr. VanderWerf provides medical and surgical ENT care for patients of all ages. Special interests include management of chronic sinusitis, cosmetic and functional nasal surgery, surgery for the aging face, and reconstruction following facial skin cancer removal.

  • Christopher Walz, M.D.
    Christopher Walz, M.D., F.A.C.S.

    Dr. Walz joined Desert ENT in 2007. He graduated cum laude with honors in Biology from Pepperdine University. He received his M.D. from the University of Southern California School of Medicine where he graduated with highest distinction. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at Duke University where he mastered the latest techniques and advances in the specialty.

    He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Walz is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.

  • Mark Wilson, M.D.
    Mark Wilson, M.D., F.A.A.C.S.

    Dr. Wilson joined Desert ENT in 2015. He is a native of Michigan who completed undergraduate degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry at Michigan State University. He then obtained his Master’s degree in Physical Chemistry at Harvard University prior to returning to Michigan for his medical training. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Michigan, and then completed residency in Head and Neck Surgery at the Henry Ford Hospital.

    He is Board Certified in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and Allergy. Professional affiliations include the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy and the American Rhinologic Society.

  • Kari Moeller, MS FNP-C
    Kari Moeller, MS FNP-C

    Kari Moeller, MS FNP-C is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She completed her undergraduate studies at INHOLLAND University in the Netherlands and earned her Masters of Science and Family Nurse Practitioner Certification from Georgetown University in Washington, DC.

    During her studies at Georgetown University, she had clinical experiences in urgent care, family practice, geriatrics, internal medicine and pediatrics. She has worked in multiple hospital settings including medical, surgical, cardiac, and intensive care.

    Professional affiliations include the California Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is an invited speaker for Georgetown’s 2GU Investor’s Day in New York City. Kari is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.

    Kari joined Desert ENT in 2016 and has been providing clinical care for simple and complex ear, nose and throat problems, often working closely with our physicians.
